Privacy Policy for DriveForge

DriveForge ("we", "our", or "the application") is a static, client-side web utility that interacts directly with Google Drive APIs. This Privacy Policy details how data is handled during active sessions.

1. Zero Server-Side Data Retention

• No Central Database or Servers: DriveForge operates as a static client application. We operate no external databases, tracking servers, or log-collection endpoints.
• Zero File Storage: Your files, folders, and archives are never routed to, stored on, inspected by, or retained on any third-party server managed by the developer.
• In-Memory Ephemeral Execution: File names, paths, and binary payloads reside exclusively inside your temporary browser runtime and are purged immediately when the tab or session is closed.

2. Ephemeral CORS Proxy

To bypass cross-origin restrictions (CORS) when downloading binary streams from Google Drive, the app uses an ephemeral stateless proxy (Cloudflare Worker). This proxy merely forwards stream headers directly to your browser without storing, caching, inspecting, or persisting file contents.

3. Google User Data & OAuth Scopes

• Access Authorization: DriveForge requests Google OAuth 2.0 access strictly to read and upload files upon your explicit direction.
• Token Handling: OAuth access tokens exist solely in your browser's temporary runtime memory. They are not transmitted to any developer-owned service.
• Policy Compliance: DriveForge complies fully with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. User Responsibility for Private / Sensitive Data

Because DriveForge operates locally without centralized moderation or server-side safeguards, you are solely responsible for ensuring that handling sensitive or private files on shared or untrusted computers is conducted safely.

5. Policy Revisions

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in web standards or API requirements. Updates will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
